Yuriy Zdebskyy was featured at Testimony Tuesday at Denny’s in Liverpool on Tuesday. Sitting next to him was his wife Lyndsey. They were married in June. They have both been an instrumental part of the youth group at the Mission Syracuse ministry at Destiny Mall in Syracuse.

Yuriy Zdebskyy will be featured for Testimony Tuesday today! Yuriy was a 12-year-old teenager immigrating from Ukraine in pursuit of an American Dream.

“My parents came to this country for a better opportunity for their children. As a result, both my sister and I pursued education, sports, and success. However, while ‘living the dream’ I was dying on the inside - lost and confused, drunk on sexual immorality, lust and po*******hy, and as a result miserable and depressed - living a successful life on the outside - salutatorian of my class, high school soccer star, and a model church kid - but on the inside feeling worthless, dirty, and without a purpose. But when I lost all of my achievements, and my only hope was Jesus, I cried out to him during the COVID era, and He put me back together. More than that, He not only restored me, but He gave me the desires of my heart that I thought would have never been fulfilled. Today I have joy and a purpose that is so satisfying and fulfilling.”
