Hey guys. So I’m not sure who all is following right now, but quick recap: I’ve done two shows. I was going to do a third show about the roller derby and that just didn’t work out. It’s time for a new show. So I just got off the phone with Grandpa Dave Wargo. How about a show where Dave and I break down all the weird and spooky paranormalness of our little nook here in Warren County? Dave was on S4E4 of Finding Bigfoot in March of 2013. And has he been racking up stories since then, guys? Oh yes. Yes he has. I was so nervous to pitch the show to him and holy crap. Was he into it. So stay tuned. I’m not even gonna start to think about producing until after New Year’s, but he is down, and we have a theme song. So it’s happening. Check back.

Had an opportunity to sit down with Warrin' Wrecking Dolls Coach Hank Delgado this morning. He did his best to explain the sportsball rules of derby to me (he has much work to do, I’m still a nerd, just like in high school), but more than that we had a really good conversation about the importance of teamwork and how the dolls set themselves apart from other teams by focusing on that aspect of their sport. The more interviews with this team I collect, the more excited I get about this project, which I’m hoping will come out in the off-season, toward the end of summer.

Can’t wait to share this amazing sport and team with all of you. Also, can’t believe I’m doing a show on a sport. But I can’t think of one that matches my personality better. 💚

Been a minute, but I’m at the Predergrast Library in Jamestown, N.Y., about to get an interview from Allison Freeman (Frau Rollin), of the Warrin' Wrecking Dolls.

This podcast was originally scheduled to release this week, but life is stupid and everyone has a lot going on, so I’m going to defer to quality over speed, and make you a rad pod instead of a fast one. Stay tuned for updates, I’ll start updating everyone as soon as I have a clearer picture of our schedule.

Alright. As I transition out of my last show and make this what I intend to do with myself from now on, I’m going to be working on transitioning all my content to this one page, which will house everything I do from here on out.

If you’ve followed “Two Moms Day Drinking” or “Smoke: The Disappearance of Damien Sharp,” you can now follow anything I make from this one place.

I did not see this in my future when I did that first pod, but here we are. With your continued support, my babies, I’ll do more and more and more, elevating everyday local stories and voices in the process.
