From PotlachDeltic:
Wildfire Prevention & Information - UPDATE
Wildfire Danger remains high for the entire state of Arkansas due to the hot, dry weather pattern. County judges have imposed Burn Bans for all counties except Marion, Van Buren, Faulkner and Lonoke.
Official state guidelines and restriction boundaries can be reviewed here: Burn Bans, Wildfire Danger & Prescribed Burns : Arkansas Forestry Division
All members and guests should be made aware of the current wildfire danger and minimize activities that could start a fire.
Adhering to the county burn ban while recreating on Rayonier property is extremely important to help minimize the risk of a wildfire getting started. We ask that you use extreme caution operating vehicles, ATV’s and bush hog tractors in tall grass and brush that is extremely dry. We also ask that ci******es are extinguished and disposed of properly.
The conditions and potential for a catastrophic wildfire will continue to exist until we receive adequate rainfall. Please adhere to the burn ban, use caution, and maintain awareness of the dry conditions. We appreciate your help and hope that you have a safe, enjoyable long weekend and the upcoming hunting season.
To report a wildfire, please dial 911 or contact the Arkansas Department of Agriculture-Forestry Division at 1-800-468-8834.
Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and commitment to fire safety.
Best Regards,
