My week in photos 🦋🌱🤍

I… photographed such beautiful wedding days, walked for for nyfw (literally insane!!! It doesn’t even feel real), spent a few days in New York City with so many inspiring humans, had therapy, Abraham time, found gluten free chicken and waffles and cried. And I think that about covers the week 🫶🏻 what an absolutely beautiful life.

May we all be reminded that we never have to go through any part of this life alone. This weekend, I stood backstage with 24 women who have all been touched by breast cancer. As we stood there waiting to walk the runway, we listened to the truth. 116 women die every single day from metastatic breast cancer and only 2% of breast cancer funding goes to research for this deadliest form. The numbers are heartbreaking, but what I felt in that moment wasn’t just grief… it was strength, it was hope. Moments like these remind me why we must continue to stand together, to raise awareness, to demand change, and to make sure that no one feels invisible in this fight. We stood there demanding more for ourselves and for the ones who will come after us.

At camp, I get to photograph the world I wish I got to see growing up with my alopecia 🦋 When I was a kid, I hid my alopecia because I was full of shame and felt so alone in my hairloss. At camp I feel like I’m giving my younger self such a gift. A reminder that I’m not the only one. Here, alopecia doesn’t feel like something that needs to be fixed, hidden, or explained. It’s celebrated. Here, belonging is natural and no one is the only one ❤️
