Meet Little Miss Wait, I Am Calling My Mama
Last week, I sat in a meeting and we had the opportunity to share what we were most grateFULL for in that moment. With certainty, I said my freshman daughter at Longwood University knows she can always call me, and she actually does it! Not only does Trinity call me to chit chat, she does not hesitate to call when:
✨ something isn’t adding up just right
✨ she has a heart tug
✨ things are overwhelming
✨ her friends need reassurance
✨ she needs a prayer partner
✨ she is ready to celebrate a win
✨ dr.mom needs to “diagnose” a friend’s aliment
✨ she needs company walking across campus
✨ her and her roomies outfits are extra perfect
✨ she needs a listening ear
✨ she has to tell me how much she misses her bed
✨ she needs to remind me she was “right”
✨ she needs coins for coffee
✨ she’s ready to share her lastest Trinity-ism
✨ a adult does the most…
And the list is endless 😉 and my heart posture is grateFULL she knows as well as all of her friends that she lends her mama to that I am always a call away, regardless to the time of day! Keep calling baby, I promise to keep answering 📞
