This is how we did in 2024... now that our festival run is over we'll be releasing ALL of our FILM FESTIVAL SHORTS along with Becoming a Wine Snob, A Music Channel, and various content of interest at the launch of the Twilight Ebb YouTube Channel.

The content is being curated as we speak and features the hard work that we've put in for the past year.

"SQUATTA" is still being read and the goal is to have that film produced before Halloween.

A second feature to be shot in SoCal this year is also in development; it may get produced prior to Squatta so stay tuned for updates.

The Film Industry has been very slow for even the most senior filmmakers and how content is consumed is causing the studios to develop new ways to capitalize globally on it's IP's, leaving a vacuum where small and independent productions once lived.

At Twilight Ebb, we honestly believe that Short Form Content and Independent Features is where our audience lies.

In the spring, the studios outside of Atlanta will open commercially and will host resident Cinematographers, Photographers, and Musicians.

MUSIC RECORDING, from dialogue to full bands, is currently available at the studios on stage 4; which is also the set for the upcoming music channel.

These have been interesting times for our industry since COVID, though we may not have connected in a while, Twilight Ebb is still here to support our fellow filmmakers and partners in production into 2025.

Inspired by Jamaican cinema, my original screenplay "Squatta" just earned its second laurel!!!

I'll be pitching at the Urban Mediamakers Association and Film Festival 23 Oct and screening THE Fobbits there, in Atlanta, around the same date.

I'll also be pitching 9 Nov in NYC at the Urban Action Showcase if anyone wants to meet up during those weekends.

We have a significant portion of the budget pledged and will be fundraising for the rest while the script is being tweaked with the producer in Jamaica.

Exiting times if you're a fan of films like THIRD WORLD COP, DANCEHALL QUEEN, and BELLY but given the HORROR TREATMENT!!!!

Nothing more motivating than DEADLINES!!!! lol

Soooo, a few of you know that I've been working on this JAMAICAN SLASHER FILM, that I'm preparing to fund raise for. I used the Urban Action Showcase screenplay deadline for my writing motivations, we won some awards and got mad love with Haebangchon (The Movie) back in 2015, so I definitely wanted to revisit this tight community, so with only minutes left, and not 100% on edits and checks, I send my very FRESH 2nd Draft off; LOW AND BEHOLD!.... I'm definitely going to NY, I'll see y'all when I get there!!!

I've been stupid busy and antisocial as of late, but wanted to let y'all know I'm good so I've posted some of my best work from the past month or so.

I'm still recovering from the accident I had in October, but we have a lot of things cooking, you may not hear from me often, but when you do, just know it's time to work... ignore the call if you want to, I promise that I will keep sharing stories of progress and celebrating moments of success... see you on the other side!

New YouTube page! Chapman Channel will have the short films James made while at Dodge College of Film & Media Arts the funding dried up to fix the audio in Kadence, but the actors cast and crew did the work so we will release it in the best quality that we are able to.
