Every fall, Sanare's clinicians see the same thing happen in Bucks County homes: a kid who seemed genuinely happy all summer starts struggling again the second school picks back up. Sunday night stomachaches, exhaustion, avoiding things that felt easy just weeks ago.

Sanare wants parents to know that shift isn't the whole story. It's not regression, it's information about what school is asking of a child that summer wasn't. Their team breaks down five common myths that keep parents stuck, from "the teacher says they're fine so it must be a behavior problem at home" to "if they need help again, we're starting from zero."

Sanare serves Bucks County families with in-person care in Collegeville, Downingtown, Exton, Drexel Hill, and King of Prussia, plus virtual care across Pennsylvania, with outpatient therapy and higher levels of support for kids and teens who need more.

This Sanare story is featured in our Back to School Guide. Read the full piece and find out what to watch for at:

Grief doesn't wait for convenient timing, and neither did Mike DiTore's diagnosis. In April 2020, weeks after his second son was born, what looked like carpal tunnel turned out to be terminal brain cancer. He was gone 17 months later.

That loss became The Michael L. DiTore Small Moments Foundation, a Greater Philadelphia nonprofit built by Mike's wife, Rebecca, for every family walking the same road she once did.

Now the 4th Annual Mikey D Memorial Golf Outing is back on Monday, September 28, 2026, at Five Ponds Golf Club in Warminster. Registration opens at 8:30 am, sh***un starts at 10 am. $175 gets you a round of golf, breakfast, contests, raffles, a buffet lunch with open bar, and a sports memorabilia auction. Foursomes are $700.

Rebecca remembers having plenty of support while Mike was sick. It was afterward, once life moved on for everyone else, that she felt truly alone. So she built the thing she needed most: a community that understands grief doesn't end when the casseroles stop coming.

Last year's outing raised over $50,000 in laundry help, meal support, house cleanings, and grief resources for local families. One Eagle sponsorship alone covers two house cleanings and nearly two weeks of groceries for a parent doing it all solo.

You don't have to know a Small Moments family to help build their next good day. You just have to show up.
