Pakistan’s Interior Ministry has stated that the UAE has stopped issuing work visas to Pakistani citizens, raising concerns that travel restrictions on Pakistani passport holders may follow.

According to reports from Geo News, Deputy Interior Minister Salman Chaudhry told the Senate Human Rights Committee that the situation was “very close to a ban on travelling to Saudi Arabia and the UAE on Pakistani passports.”
