to Rev. Jesse Jackson (October 8. 1941-February 17, 2026)🙏🏾Today, we honor a giant whose voice, courage and love for black people shaped generations. Reverend Jesse Jackson was not only a civil rights icon—he was a pioneer....a political legend! ✊🏾Jackson died peacefully at 84 this morning surrounded by family after battling a lengthy illness. 🕊️ My sincere condolences go out to his family and my respect to him always for the legacy he left behind that will live on in history books for generations to come. Oh noooo not Lamont! 😢 Sincerest condolences goes out to the family of Demond Wilson, forever etched into television history as Lamont Sanford, the long-suffering son of Fred Sanford on NBC’s “Sanford and Son,” has died. He was 79. Wilson was pronounced dead Friday morning at his home in Palm Springs, Calif., according to his son, Demond Wilson Jr., who confirmed the actor passed away from complications related to cancer. The specific type was not disclosed. Prayers Up! 🙏🏾 RIP sir 🕊️
