René & Angela were an American R&B duo formed in 1977 by René Moore and Angela Winbush. They disbanded in 1986 and are best known for their 1985 hit I'll Be Good. They recorded three albums with Capitol Records and later released Street Called Desire with Mercury Records in 1985. Despite their success, the duo split due to conflicts, including Moore's alleged violent behavior and Winbush's solo lead on Your Smile. Both artists went on to have successful solo careers in performance, songwriting, and production.🎶❤️🖤
