Shooting in doing a portrait project just for the fun and creativity of it was a life saver! As much as I adore the destination wedding photographer journey and photographing couples, sometimes your creativity takes you in another direction. And I don’t think you should ever let anything quell your creativity 🤘🏼

Something different than the norm!

I think today there is such a pressure for photographers, especially niche or wedding photographers, to be constantly in that box, feeding into what they think they need to do to beat the algorithm. I hate that game.

As creatives it is essential to break free and get out of your comfort zone. Sometimes you need to do projects that feed your soul, spark your creativity, and hone your craft in a different way. Feed aesthetic be damned.

So, that being said, who can guess the inspiration for this shoot? 🌚
