lates night, running on no sleep but the energy is a thrill and the scenes are better to experience in real time. small yakitory shops and izakayas are all over the place. you have to go to the good ones and to find out, you just have to figure it out. it's a vibe. for some reason, we happened to just hit all the right spots. also the friends i was with happen to be in the food + beverage industry, so i highly trusted their intuition on a spot for good food and drinks. to which we indulged! OMOIDE YOKOCHO is where this was.

this was during the week and the city was busy and full of people. but by the end of the night, the streets were empty with walking businessman in suites trying to get home with memories of a great night, and bellies full of food + highballs. what a night and a memorable way to bring in TOKYO on my first day.

001 // SA JAPAN

each year gets better and better. perspective on life evolves. understanding people evolves. i truly run on excitement and the idea of pursuing intuitions and gut feeling. i never want to ask myself what if, or say "i should've done this" in my lifetime. every moment in my life is an experience to learn from. traveling is always a challenge. i also learned quickly that i love traveling by myself. no rules. no agenda to follow except my own. if im tired, i'm going to sit down on a bench ha! i tend to get lost a lot and spend conversations with amazing strangers. that individual connection with someone you meet for the first time is so special. i rarely forget that first time i meet someone. i can be patient with my experiences. and slow my time. life is beautiful thru ups and downs.

the number one question i get asked a lot within a group of people: "how did you meet so and so?" The answer: I meet a lot of So and So's randomly. stay chillen'

SA JAPAN // a collection of content

organizing my drives and content early this year and came across images + content i'd like to share. i spent 2 weeks in JAPAN earlier this year and i can't believe i'm still thinking about it. week one i walked everywhere and tried to experience as much as i could with no specific agenda. just woke up and ended up in neighborhoods and places. week two i spent time with the team at The Pop-Up in CHICAGO. what started off as strangers have now become lasting friendships. i'll be sharing as much as i can for the next couple of weeks of my time there and clips of my friends at The Pop-UP. thru this, i hope to connect with like-minded people, release creative thoughts, create opportunities and keep the energy flowing. i want to leave a legacy to inspire the kid in me beyond my time. welcome to SA JAPAN.

vibrant energy at // the world's first filipino michelin star restaurant. the food is on point, delicious pastries and unique cafe drink options! we came for the daytime menu and it did not disappoint. the staff is super cool, and even offered us other spots to hit up in chicago. def. has that to it 😜!
