WILL LOKI BETRAY LUFFY TO JOIN BLACKBEARD?

While most fans blindly assume Loki will join the Straw Hats after Elbaf, a far more sinister path awaits him that could completely upend the World Government's worst nightmares. Theory suggests Loki’s mysterious Devil Fruit was actually the missing key to Rocks D. Xebec’s original world domination plan an ancient power Teach is actively hunting to finish what his predecessor started.

If Luffy saves Loki only to lose his allegiance, it would prove that friendship alone isn't enough to secure the ultimate giant ally, creating a tragic parallel to the broken pact between Rocks and King Harald. Imagine the utter chaos if Blackbeard successfully recruits Loki, instantly shifting the global power balance and giving Teach a walking catastrophe for the final war.

Hajrudin vs. Loki: Brothers or Oda’s Favorite Body Type?

I cannot unsee the differences, but at the same time, the similarities between Hajrudin and Loki are almost impossible to ignore. Hajrudin is built like an absolute tank from head to toe, while Loki somehow has that classic One Piece body shape where the upper body is massive and the legs look ridiculously thin. If they were the same size, Hajrudin could probably put Loki in a leglock and end the entire argument right there. 😂

But to be fair, Loki was chained to that tree for a very long time, so you could argue that his skinny legs are partly the result of years of inactivity and muscle loss. The problem is, Loki already looked like this during his fight with Harald. So maybe the prison has nothing to do with it at all. Maybe Oda simply loves giving some of his strongest male characters enormous upper bodies and straight-up toothpick legs. And honestly, for some reason, Loki’s design in that particular panel looks closer to his original design than ever.

And then there is the part that makes the family connection even harder to deny. Hajrudin and Loki actually attack in remarkably similar ways, almost as if they inherited the same fighting instincts. Could this be another little detail showing the influence of King Harald’s DNA? Maybe Oda is quietly reminding us that, despite their completely different builds, these two really are brothers. 🗿🔥

LUFFY’S GEAR 5 MAY BE ENTERING A NEW STAGE

Luffy should have already run out of energy and returned to his normal form, yet something unusual appears to be happening as his heartbeat starts beating again while the wounds across his body seem to pulse with every beat.

One theory is that this could be a sign of Nika’s power becoming more dominant within Luffy, almost as if his body is forcing Gear 5 to awaken again despite the exhaustion that should have ended the transformation.

Another possibility is even more controversial: Luffy may be gradually learning to control Gear 5 at a deeper level, potentially reducing the massive energy drawback that has always limited the form, although there is currently no confirmation that this is actually happening.

If Oda is intentionally setting up this pattern in Elbaph, the real question is whether Luffy is slowly losing control to Nika, or whether he is finally reaching the true mastery of Gear 5, and that distinction could completely change how we understand his power going forward.

Most likely, it signifies that he is getting serious. Zoro often removes or adjusts his accessories whenever he enters a crucial battle phase.

In Chapter 1193, after being surrounded by thorns, Zoro instantly slices through all of them and nearly pierces Sommers’s heart, casually stating, “Oh, sorry! I’m still practicing.”

Oda may have intentionally had Zoro remove his glasses to make his intense expression and aura clearer, especially as he begins unleashing his Conqueror’s Haki.

However, this remains speculation for now. It could simply be Oda’s way of restoring Zoro’s signature look to emphasize a pivotal moment in the fight.

THE GOD OF SUN AT HIS LIMIT: WILL LOKI BETRAY LUFFY?

The devastating combined strike from Luffy and Loki sent Imu crashing into the colossal trunk of the Adam Tree, leaving a massive crater in its wake. However, as the hollow rhythm of Gear 5’s drums returns, Luffy suddenly collapses to the ground in absolute agony. He is terrified that the full weight of his accumulated damage is about to resurface, leaving him completely unable to continue the fight.

Taking immediate advantage of the chaos, Loki begins transforming into his mysterious hybrid form. Masked in total shadow, the Sun God of Elbaf boasts that he will finish Imu off himself, telling a defenseless Luffy to sit back and rest. Meanwhile, deep within the splintered wood of the Adam Tree, Imu’s body remains buried, their face completely blacked out after taking the full brunt of the assault.

This sudden turn of events raises massive red flags for the alliance. Could Loki's eagerness actually be a sinister setup to absorb Imu’s ancient power, or worse, strike down a helpless Straw Hat captain to claim total dominance over the giants?

With Oda constantly subverting expectations, fans are fiercely divided on whether Loki is truly a chaotic ally or the ultimate betrayer playing everyone from the very start.

ZORO TOOK OFF HIS GLASSES AND UNLOCKED HIS BRAIN

Zoro really took off his glasses for the first time in Elbaph and somehow managed to bring his aura back instantly. But the funniest part is that he is actually THINKING now. I swear this man has used more brain power in this chapter than he has in half of the entire manga.

It also looks like Gaban’s words finally got through to him. Zoro now seems genuinely interested in understanding and controlling his Conqueror’s Haki, which makes the situation even funnier when you remember that he may have been using one of the rarest powers in the world without fully realizing what he was doing.

That is peak Zoro. Imagine accidentally unlocking one of the most terrifying abilities in the world and only much later thinking, “Oh… so THAT’S what that was.” After years of relying on instinct and brute force, seeing Zoro actually trying to understand his own power could be a major step in his development.

Of course, Sanji fans already have the perfect explanation: his brain is overheating. You can practically smell the burnt moss from here. But jokes aside, if Zoro truly learns to control his Conqueror’s Haki consciously, could Elbaph be the arc where he finally takes his power to another level?

As Sommers was about to attack, Zoro suddenly sliced through all the thorns in an instant. Right after, he plunged his sword into Sommers’s chest, narrowly missing his heart.

Sommers panicked, but Zoro casually responded, “Oh, sorry!! I’m still practicing.”

Meanwhile, the focus shifted back to the fight between Sanji and Killingham. Killingham taunted Sanji, claiming he had no chance of winning. Sanji quickly countered with a powerful kick to Killingham’s stomach, saying, **“That’s up to me.”

The impact was so intense that Killingham’s eyes rolled back.

This chapter heavily highlights Zoro with one of the main epic moments and a strong closing scene, though Sanji still gets his shining moment in battle.

DOUGLAS BULLET IS THE MAN WITH THE BURN SCAR? 🔥

Inside are an important letter and another unknown object, with the letter said to have been passed down through generations for hundreds of years—possibly surviving for 600 to 1,000 years or even longer. Chopper translates Biblo’s explanation, revealing that the letter has been inherited from one generation to the next, and Biblo urges them to open the box immediately because the time has finally come.

Robin hesitates because the battle is still ongoing, but Biblo continues insisting that they open it. Meanwhile, Gunko finally awakens after being knocked unconscious by Imu and remaining incapacitated since around Chapter 1187. She is still lying down, but her eyes are now open, although the available spoilers contain little to no dialogue from her. Franky then asks, “Come on, which one of you is it, Gunko or Princess Shuri?” suggesting that there is still uncertainty over whether the person who awakened is truly Gunko or whether another identity is somehow influencing her.
