I couldn’t have been luckier with the weather. By the time I left suburban Maryland, where I live, the temperatures were pushing high 90s Fahrenheit (35+ Celsius) but I found relief in late June from the scorching heat in both Denmark and Norway where I carried out a big chunk of this summer’s triathlon training.
