As the war has proven, Iran’s control of the straight of Hormuz has the ability to damage not just the oil market but the global economy entirely.

This is a much more valuable weapon to wield than a handful of Nuclear Weapons, and the war has backfired by showing them as much.

Earlier this week Trump admitted the US Government attempted to arm protesters in Iran by passing them through another “group” who stole them.

This is a continuation of textbook US Policy in the Middle East that leads to the same cyclical problem of blowback: arm militant groups against a current enemy of America, the militant group you arm ends up becoming a future enemy of America instead.

The President attempts to pass the buck and lay blame elsewhere, saying “he told his people this would happen” a major cope, as ultimately the decision was his to sign off on.

Just hours after Pakistan’s Prime Minister announced he has helped mediate a ceasefire agreement between the US, Iran & Israel that included a ceasefire in Lebanon, Israel launched one of its largest air campaigns against Lebanon, jeopardizing Trump’s entire ceasefire negotiations with Iran.

The Administration is attempting to backtrack like JD Vance does here and cover for the Israelis, but Lebanon was specifically included in the original ceasefire agreement as originally stated. Once again this Administration proves they don’t have the balls to stand up to and reign in the Israelis.

The President of Iran has penned a letter to Americans everyone should probably read, at minimum to try and understand what “the other side” has to say about this war our Government is about to embark on against them.

Form your own opinions and conclusions.

Interesting as this reminds me of Osama Bin Laden’s “letter to America” but using the opposite logic.

Bin Laden deemed the American people guilty by association (voting) for the actions of our Government, listing his grievances.

The Iranian President here makes it a point on page 1 of his letter to draw a clear distinction between “American people” and the actions of our government. Stressing that Iranians do not consider Americans guilty of the actions of our Governmet, then listing his grievances.

On Tuesday President Trump announced that the war against Iran has been won, and anyone saying it hasn’t is “fake news”.

Trump cited operational dominance in certain theaters of the war as proof America has won, we explain how that’s flawed logic but will support it if it’s just the President’s way of saving face while taking an off ramp to get America out of this disastrous war he started.

We thought of ⁠made a great observation this past week, noting that the protest/riot machine that has previously been deployed in opposition to President Trump’s immigration agenda is nowhere to be found regarding his universally unpopular war in Iran. Why is that?
