✨ Happy new week, friends! ✨ This weekend was *shockingly* normal. No plagues, no chaos—just me, working on my soon-to-launch online store (because apparently, I love making my to-do list cry) and chauffeuring my daughter to a birthday party where cupcakes reigned supreme. A stark contrast to last weekend when my house resembled a Victorian sick ward, and I was the lone survivor. 🫠

Looking at these photos and I’m feeling a little nostalgic about outdoor living/dining especially with the little bit of snow we got this morning.

I’m this close to trimming our Christmas trees but sadly one of the glass ornaments I ordered is delayed. TBH I actually love the pink tree bare but I’ve hung up the ornaments that came and a few from my old tree that I kept. Ms. Pinky is coming along. I’m sharing update in stories ✨

I’m hoping this week is much more productive for me. I’ve been struggling with getting going & I think it’s due to burnout from all the .co events this year. I pray for creativity and strength.

Hello, December ✨

Can you believe it is the final month of 2023? I feel like we just had Thanksgiving and not too long ago. My little daughter was just starting middle school. It really does feel like time flies and the past couple of months you might’ve noticed I didn’t show up here, as much as I would love to for the simple reason of trying to replenish my soul, creative mind and body. My work as a wedding planner, designer and florist is very taxing on the body. So when October/November rolls around you can imagine I am physically/mentally exhausted.

A few weeks ago I felt inspired to create something beautiful. It was around the same time that I’d received my copy of “Livable Luxe” by && I felt driven to create.

During off season it is really important to me to create something for me…I spent about 45 minutes putting all of these together, turned on my camera (on a timer), poured myself a glass of sparkling rosé, and thumbed through Brigette’s book. It even drizzled while I was seating out there but there was something cathartic about the rain drops.

2024 is a few short four weeks away, and I’m ready to jump right in with so much clarity and excitement. Thank you guys so much for being patient with me and giving time and grace when I needed time to reflect and reconnect with my creativity, and getting myself together. Ilysm 💕✨
