Celebrating Resurrection Sunday!

I'm incredibly thankful for the price Jesus paid for us all and His powerful victory over death. Feeling immensely blessed by my wonderful wife, hardworking production team, and amazing church family today.

Happy Easter/Resurrection Day! 🙌🏾✝️

It's hard to believe it's been eight years since our unforgettable FTC road trip!

The memories, photos, and laughter we shared on our journey from VA to ATL and back to Tennessee are still as vivid as ever. Before life got elevated with kids and wives, we had the freedom to do whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted 😆.

Don't get me wrong, our families mean everything to us, but there's a special camaraderie that can never be replicated - 'More chunes for yo head top, so watch how you speak on our name, ya'kno!' 😆

Hands down, this trip was one of the best experiences of my life - just me, my friends, and the thrill of the open road.

I've had the Pixel 9 Pro for a couple of months now. Here's my short review.

Just a few months in, and the Pixel 9 Pro is already proving to be a formidable flagship phone. While its camera system has garnered much attention, it's the versatility of the 5x telephoto lens that has truly impressed me.

Recently, I used the telephoto lens to capture a stunning shot of an owl perched on a post. The detail and clarity were remarkable, even at such a distance. This lens also excels at capturing action shots, particularly in sports settings.

I used the .5x wide-angle lens to photograph a basketball game, and the results were crisp and clear, even when zoomed in on fast-moving players.

Beyond the telephoto lens, the Pixel 9 Pro's camera system boasts impressive advancements in Real Tone technology. This ensures that portraits of people with darker skin tones are rendered with accuracy and nuance, capturing the beauty of diverse complexions.

Overall, the Pixel 9 Pro is a highly capable phone that excels in various photography scenarios. Its camera system is a testament to Google's commitment to innovation and inclusivity, setting a new standard for smartphone photography.

Glad to be

Throwback to 2014 when I had the awesome opportunity to be a Google Chrome educator at George Washington University! 💻

We were on a mission to change the perception that Chromebooks were just 'simple' laptops. I remember having a conversation with a computer science student, explaining how software development would eventually move to the cloud and Chromebooks would be at the forefront.

Back in 2011, the most popular Chromebook was the Samsung Series 5, known for its sleek design and impressive battery life (for the time!). But compared to today's Chromebooks, it was a different world!

Fast forward to 2024, and it's amazing to see that vision come to life! Chromebooks have undergone a massive transformation:

📅 In 2011: Mostly just web browsing, limited offline access, and basic apps.

📆 In 2024: Full operating systems (Chrome OS and Linux!), robust offline functionality, Android apps like LumaFusion, and even powerful web-based development tools like Google Cloud Shell, Visual Studio Code, and Project IDX!

And let's not forget those stunning Chromebook Plus devices with their incredible displays, detachable keyboards, and stylus support! They're basically tablets AND laptops in one.

Fun fact: My wife and I both daily drive Pixelbook Go laptops – hers is a lovely shade of pink, while mine is a classic matte black. It's like the yin and yang of our tech setup! 😂

What was YOUR first experience with a Chromebook?

This is my 3rd Google I/O and I can honestly say that today really reignited my enjoyment and love for Google, Android, and the Android community.

I talked to so many smart, friendly, and kind people. Some people that I've enjoyed talking to online that I finally got to meet in person for a long time and others I've been a big fan of in the community.

To Google and everyone I met today, thank you for such an amazing Day 1 at Google I/O. Looking forward to Day 2!

I thank God everyday for this opportunity! 🙌🏾

Getting back into the swing of posting my photos! I never stopped taking them, but now I'm excited to share again. Expect lots of landscape, macro, and street photography.

What are some of your favorite things to see photos of? Cars? People? Flowers?

Watching kids spray paint graffiti in all of those 90s movies really paid off as a kid 😆

Last week was pretty busy. Since Instagram finally supports Pixel's Ultra HDR and 10-bit HDR photos and videos, I decided to work downtown and capture some cool shots during my lunch break.

Now photos and videos taken on Pixel and uploaded to Instagram can look how they normally look with high quality without Instagram downgrading the quality.

What do you think?

P.S. I just wanted to highlight my wife's sticker decorated Pixelbook Go.
