Life is one big journey - I’m returning to this which I shared last year as there’s been a lot of curiosity around my cheesy grin you see on your screen. Yes it’s there majority of the time, but I am very much human too - albeit a very positive squeeze every ounce out of this one precious life one. 👇🏼
It’s never linear. It’s never perfect.
There’s tough times and beautiful ones.
There’s time in the trenches and time where things flow.
And when it comes to health we really can have one wild ride. For me, I’ve experienced…
👉🏼 bingeing & self sabotage. The all or nothing “f**k it” mentality of I’ve had one chip I might as well have the whole packet since I’ve ruined it.
👉🏼 to an obsession with health & eating perfectly clean. Training twice per day, only ever eating organic whole foods. Beating myself up if I ever was to stop & rest.
The mentality of being happy when… I’m lean, I’m skinny, I’m receiving compliments.
👉🏼 to growing little humans & battling PND. While it’s a mind blowing experience that I grew & birthed little people, many mums will be able to relate to the fears I had around my body changing, having another human depend on your body for all their nutrients, how I was to manage let alone accept my changed body, plus the challenges that PND brought too.
👉🏼 to now using all those learnings & study to shape where I am today. More in balance. Happily confident. Love for my authentic self. Nourishing my body, mind & soul.
Of course there’s days when there’s tears or life trips me up but as my journey has taught me “this too shall pass”.
I’m sharing these life stages with you so you know that if you’re struggling right now, at any stage, that you won’t be forever.
You can make changes. You can take action to get to your version of a happy, healthy, balanced, authentic and confident you.
It takes work, growth, healing, integration & a whole lot of love but it’s worth it you beautiful human.
