My young wife was giving my teenage son $200 every week to keep quiet about where she spent her nights — until he finally said, "Dad, I can’t cover for her anymore."
I thought Elena loved me.
She was 32, beautiful, charming, and so good at looking innocent that I never questioned the late nights, the locked phone, or the way she started smiling at messages she wouldn’t let me see.
Then my 17-year-old son Leo changed too.
He stopped joking with me. He stopped looking me in the eye. And every time Elena walked into the room, he went silent.
One evening, I saw them from the upstairs window.
Elena glanced around nervously. Then she pressed two crisp $100 bills into Leo’s hand.
"Take it," she whispered. "Remember what we discussed. YOUR FATHER CAN NEVER KNOW."
I froze.
That night, Leo lied to my face.
"Savings for a car," he muttered, shoving the money into his drawer.
But after that, I started noticing everything.
Elena sneaking out after dinner. Leo waiting by the garage. Their voices dropping the second I came close.
And every Friday, another $200 disappeared into my son’s pocket.
Last night, I found the cash in his gym bag. I walked into his room and shut the door.
"Is she paying you to hide another man?"
Leo’s face drained.
For a second, he looked like a scared little boy again.
Then he whispered, "Dad… please. She said you’d ruin everything if you knew."
My chest went cold.
"Knew WHAT?"
He grabbed his hoodie with shaking hands.
"I can’t do this anymore," he said. "Get in the car. I’ll show you where she really goes."
Ten minutes later, we were driving across town in silence.
Leo only spoke to tell me when to turn. Finally, he pointed at a small house on a quiet street.
"Park here," he whispered. "She's here tonight."
I left Leo in the car and walked toward the house by myself.
I looked through the window and froze the second I realized what was happening inside that house. Then I THREW THE DOOR OPEN. ⬇️
