We are so proud to announce that Listen, directed by Taliesin Black-Brown, has won Best Documentary Short at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival. 🏆

The jury called it "a technical masterpiece" that uses "the marriage of arresting sound design and beautiful cinematography to force the viewer to stop, listen, and consider our mortality and relationship with the natural world."

💬 Listen is a short documentary set in the largest wilderness on Earth. It follows Alaskan author Hank Lentfer as he records forgotten sounds of the natural world and cares for his mother with dementia. Listen is a sensory immersion that dissolves the boundaries between us and the more-than-human world.

Thrilled to share that our local premiere of From the Hill to the Horizon at FilmFest DC is officially SOLD OUT! 📽️✨

There is no feeling quite like bringing this story back to the D.C. community where it all began. A huge thank you to everyone who secured tickets for this Sunday’s screening at Regal Gallery Place. Anna Kukurina, one of the women featured in our documentary, "The Beauty of Your Earth," co-produced with Zakuna Pictures, is a three-time world powerlifting champion. While her titles brought her fame, she is beloved in her adopted hometown of Mykolaiv for her indefatigable dedication to helping animals and people in need. Alongside veterinarian Anna Polyanska, her team of volunteers leads the effort to save, treat, and rehome every animal in their care.
