Cam Skattebo Out for Season After Ankle Injury

New York Giants rookie running back Cam Skattebo suffered a dislocated ankle during the Week 8 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on October 26, 2025. The injury occurred in the second quarter when his right leg was caught under a defender during a tackle. Skattebo was carted off the field in an air cast and taken to a Philadelphia hospital. The Giants confirmed he will undergo surgery Sunday night and is expected to miss the remainder of his rookie season. Before the injury, Skattebo had three carries for 12 yards and an 18-yard touchdown reception, adding to his impressive 617 scrimmage yards and seven touchdowns this season.
