SFIR is an independent media company based out of Arlington, Virginia.

We fight against the Disimagination Machine by documenting the punk and metal music scenes in Washington DC and Virginia.

Coming June 5th, the release of This Time Might Be the Last time, a full-length LP of archival recordings from the Washington, DC post-punk trio Colossus DC, captured live to tape in February 2002 and unheard for over two decades.

The tapes were rediscovered in 2023 and painstakingly restored and mixed by Matt Rebendo, and mastered by Kevin Bernsten.
