The Free Canvas

The Free Canvas The Free Canvas; Curators of the DC Arts Scene. An online news periodical dedicated to cataloging every art gallery in DC and publicizing their events.

The Free Canvas exists for you; the tourist, the local, the student, the family man, the business woman. You may be well versed in the arts or you may have a passing interest in the arts and would like to learn more but aren't sure where to begin. Worry not, the Free Canvas is catered just for you. We are your personal art curator, unbound by the high and low-brow alike. Our brows are furrowed in

thought as we select the best of the DC art scene to feature in our articles for your perusal. Free Canvas belongs to no one and everyone; now please hold still. We'd like to get your portrait perfect as we draw you to the arts.
