Rhaena Targaryen Claims a Sheepsteler The WILD Dragon!

The moment we’ve all been waiting for! 🐉🔥

Rhaena Targaryen has spent her entire life in the shadow of her dragon-riding family, feeling incomplete without a beast of her own. But true Targaryen blood doesn't give up. Wandering into the harsh, misty hills of the Vale, face to face with the legendary wild dragon Sheepstealer, she didn't run. She stood her ground.

Watching her use the Valyrian command "Lykiri" (Calm) to soothe a dragon infamous for its vicious nature and appetite for livestock was pure chills. You can see the absolute terror in her eyes turning into pure determination. She risked everything, and it paid off.

The dragon seeds have risen, but Rhaena just proved exactly why she is a true daughter of the dragon. This changes EVERYTHING for the Blacks! 🖤

Before the massive wars, the tragic losses, and the Dance of the Dragons truly began, it all started with moments like this. A young Prince Jacaerys Velaryon standing face-to-face with a young, aggressive Vermax in the Dragonpit.

The tension in this scene is absolute perfection. You can see the fear and excitement in Jace’s eyes as he asks, "Can I say it?" and delivers his very first, eager "Dracarys, Vermax!"
But what makes this scene even crazier on a rewatch? Look at Aemond Targaryen.

Standing in the shadows, watching his nephew successfully bond with and command a dragon while he still doesn't have one of his own. The seeds of jealousy, rivalry, and resentment were planted right here in the Dragonpit. Aemond's intense stare says everything you need to know about the storm that was brewing between the blacks and the greens.
