The Indiana Senate really said “nah, we’re good” when Trump tried to pressure them into a redistricting power grab. 31-19 vote shut it down, with 21 Republicans breaking ranks to do what’s right for their constituents.

Months of threats? Primary challenge warnings? VP Vance campaign stops? None of it worked. These senators remembered who they actually work for and chose democracy over party pressure.

Sometimes doing the right thing means standing up to your own party. Major respect to the Indiana Senate for putting Hoosiers first.
