This mix also kicks off a brand new project: The Yearlong Series—a monthly mix series I’ll be running for the next year. Expect a deep dive into my progressive house and melodic style, with tracks from some of my favorite artists, along with plenty of my own originals.⁠

It’s been a long time coming, but I’m ecstatic to share my second full-length album, Can I be Honest

Those who know me know that I can be quite an opinionated person. For better or worse, I think the best relationships are fostered over the continued push towards candidness and honesty — in discussions, in art, in experiences, and more. This album signifies my own mantra, to push for ‘honesty’ in whatever form it takes in all things I do.

This album is a culmination of all my production experience so far. Over the past two years, I’ve poured countless hours into these 10 tracks, with some coming together in 2 weeks, and others taking 6 months. The album has a mix of soundscapes, ranging from soaring melodies, to booming club basslines and dissonant drops.

Bopping & Groovin’ into 2024 like… oh, and with a huge announcement

It’s release day!! I’m thrilled to share my latest EP, titled Loss / Love. The tracks are a bit more sentimental than I’ve usually done. The past year or so has consisted of soaring highs and some tumultuous lows and I believe each of these tracks conveys those feelings in a pretty raw way. We’re locking it down this weekend 🔐🎶
I am so, so SO thrilled to be back at Soundcheck to open for both Jerro and OCULA! I’ve been absolutely obsessed with both of their work, from their records on Lane 8's This Never Happened label to Jerro’s massive Canopy Club sets. As 2022 comes to a close, I can undoubtedly say it’s been one of massive change.

Musically, it’s been a year I’m so proud of - from release my first full-length album, Fragments at the start of the year, to my first collaborative EP with my good friend Henry Galindo, which closed it out. I also fully retired the Chairman name and began the Kopca project - taking this whole concept of “you are the name” very seriously! Lastly, in this post-pandemic world, I’ve been able to get back to the dance floor and re-connect with so many amazing folks and musicians while also meeting a lot of new friends and connections along the way.

I’m so grateful to friends and family who have been with me on the Kopca project journey. I’m not quite sure what 2023 has in store for me, but I’m excited to make more music to share with you all! I’ll see you on the dance floor in 2023~

When Henry and I first set out to make a collaborative EP, we didn’t know how the tracks would develop, but we knew that they would share our distinct styles. Now nearly a year later, we know how those tracks sound and we are so excited to present our first collaborative EP together - ‘Congregate’.

The EP will be released this coming Sunday, December 18 on Eklektik Elektrik, a label headed up by our good friend and fellow Decibel Collective mate, Matthew Cha.

We will be hosting a release party this coming Sunday! More details to come, but for those in the DMV, we hope you can join us. We cannot wait to share these tracks with you!
