The lawsuit, filed in federal district court, alleges that Orange County undermined voter confidence by “refusing transparency of its voter information in violation of federal voting laws” and “concealing the unlawful registration of ineligible, noncitizen voters.”

“Voting by noncitizens is a federal crime, and states and counties that refuse to disclose all requested voter information are in violation of well-established federal elections laws” said Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon of the federal Department of Justice Civil Rights Division.

Down in the Florida Everglades, state-level lawmakers and the Department of Homeland Security decided to build a new detention center for Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s housing of apprehended illegal immigrants awaiting processing and deportation.

Utilizing Federal Emergency Management Administration funds, the facility is expected to hold up to 1,000 people, and is touted as only the latest example of Florida’s dedication, under Gov. Ron DeSantis, to President Donald Trump’s policies to crack down on illegal immigration.

President Donald Trump announced that Israeli officials believe the U.S. airstrike targeting an Iranian nuclear site over the weekend has made it “totally inoperable” and set the regime back for years.

“The devastating U.S. strike on Fordow destroyed the site’s critical infrastructure and rendered the enrichment facility totally inoperable,” Trump told a NATO conference in the Netherlands, reading the statement from the Israeli Atomic Energy Commission.

The agency assesses “that the American strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities have set back Iran’s ability to develop nuclear weapons for many years to come.”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis invoked emergency powers on Tuesday to clear the way for Alligator Alcatraz, a new illegal immigration detention center deep in the Everglades.

The plans for another complex to hold illegal immigrants apprehended by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and awaiting processing and deportation, were drafted and submitted by the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM) to the Department of Homeland Security, and received Secretary Kristi Noem’s approval on June 23.
