See Ethan Slater’s Boq change into a hardened and heartless character in “Wicked: For Good,” defined less by an open mind and more by “limbic rage.” Slater told The Credits how his transformation from the wide-eyed munchkin boy into vengeful tin man allowed him to explore the value of honesty and communication in this wicked tale.

A story fueled by the love of the people telling it and powered by the passion of the people watching it – that is a recipe for great filmmaking.

Listen to visionary director Ryan Coogler talk about his masterpiece "Sinners" how it surprised him, what it says about the link between artists and audiences, and why it helped him renew his vows to cinema.

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice— a name we can say twice but wouldn’t dare say thrice.

Now joining our collection at the MPA: the 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice' (2024) jacket worn by Michael Keaton and the "Handbook for the Recently Deceased" prop.

“Zootopia 2” roared into the MPA this week!

This film is more than a return to a world of beloved mammals. It’s a testament to the talented artists, storytellers, and technicians who bring such vibrant stories to life.

Grateful to Disney for giving us all a sneak peek at this fun tale – and thankful to Disney’s EVP Susan Fox and the MPA’s own Larissa Knapp for joining the crowd of Blue Star Families and others to enjoy this screening two days before it hits theaters nationwide.

We 🎶couldn’t be happier🎵 to have hosted two thrillifying screenings of 'Wicked: For Good.'

Together with Comcast NBCUniversal, we brought Glinda, Elphaba, the Wizard, and all of Oz to the heart of Washington, DC. And it was truly wonderful.

Wicked Movie: For Good is in theaters this weekend!

Film has a unique power to spotlight stories that need to be told. 'Walk With Me’ shares an experience shared by millions of Americans — voices that need to be heard. Filmmaker Heidi Levitt uses this heartfelt documentary to open a window into the lives of everyday superheroes: caregivers.

The MPA and Elizabeth Dole Foundation proudly co-hosted a screening of this film, which follows Heidi as she provides round-the-clock care and unwavering support to her husband, Charlie Hess, as he navigates his journey living with early onset Alzheimer’s disease.

It was an honor to have Rep. Linda Sánchez join us to discuss her own experience with caregiving and how it has motivated her advocacy for this issue on Capitol Hill.
