For Women:
Dirndl:

Apron Bow:
The way the apron bow is tied can signify marital status; a bow on the left usually means the wearer is single, and a bow on the right indicates they are taken.

For Men:
Lederhosen: These are traditional leather shorts or breeches worn by men. They are often paired with a Bavarian shirt and suspenders.
General Terminology:
Trachten: This is the overarching term for these traditional Bavarian costumes worn at Oktoberfest and other German festivals.
