The goal of Videology is to provide clear and easy tactics for producing high quality web video on a low cost budget. A: First off - we're not a pharmaceutical product. Videology has no chance of adverse side-effects, and it is recommended in doses both small and large. We cater primarily to D.C. area marketing professionals, content strategists and producers who want to learn more about budget-co
nscious web video. While some members of the audience may have prior experience producing video content, you are welcome to show up even if you've never handled a video camera in your entire life. Q: What do you charge for each session? $500? $1000? We charge a nominal fee merely to cover the basic costs of beverages and other little expenses that make Videology possible. Q: What is the typical agenda for a session? A: Doors usually will open (depending on the venue) at around 6:00 p.m. We officially begin at 6:30 p.m. with a brief introduction by the event organizers. By 6:45, the invited guest speaker will begin to deliver his or her presentation, followed by an open Q & A. At 7:15, we'll segue into the "hands-on workshop" portion, where the audience will be able to test out one aspect of the night's topic on real equipment. By 7:30, we will be wrapping up, so everyone gets home at a reasonable hour. Q: How can I sign up? A: We release the Eventbrite registration roughly one month before a session, usually a few days after the current month's Videology session. This gives both prior Videology attendees and newcomers a fair shot at getting tickets for a future event. Q: If I miss a session, is there any chance that you'll repeat it again? A: Although we probably won't repeat a session verbatim, it's likely that a similar discussion to the one you missed will be coming up later in the year.
