Hey, fam!
I've been on a quest over the past few years to hold election deniers accountable for January 6 and its aftermath, and to prevent another January 6 from ever happening again. You've seen many of my biggest scoops all over the media, from Tommy Tuberville, John Eastman, Cleta Mitchell, to most recently, Justice Sam Alito and Roger Stone.
In my upcoming documentary Gonzo for Democracy, I will connect all the dots of my past reporting, plus break new scoops, and tell the story of how America came to the brink of losing it all vis a vis the changing political climate in Factory Towns. Those are the manufacturing communities throughout the Rust Belt hardest hit by deindustrialization, and the focus of my nonprofit's Factory Towns research project. My business partner Mike has been leading that work, and this was an incredible synergy between our respective projects.
We scored interviews with Keith Olbermann, Kathy Griffin, George Conway, Reed Galen, Celinda Lake, and Congressmembers Jamie Raskin, Eric Swalwell, Stacey Plaskett, and Jimmy Gomez. In August, I took a trip to the quintessential Factory Towns state, Ohio. In Youngstown and Columbus, we talked to Ohio political heavyweights David Wilhelm, David Pepper, and former Governor Ted Strickland, amongst others.
I just filmed the final narration last night at Lightbox Studio in Annapolis, and we are in crunch time now to get this out before the election. But we need your help to get this project across the finish line.
