Among the pines of the Dübener Heide, a single-storey brick building once functioned as a listening and observation station. Operators maintained the post within the forest. Following abandonment the same structure has weathered and the surrounding heath woodland has remained in place.
Key fact: The Dübener Heide between the Elbe and Mulde rivers contained small forest-based listening and signal posts that formed part of the wider inland monitoring network.
