Ali Kulture Muslim | Artist About Ali Kulture: Born in Pakistan, raised in San Jose and currently residing in the DMV, Kulture really has meaning behind his name.

At age two Ali’s father was murdered at the hands of the Taliban in his native country. Moving to California at the age of 5, Ali learned to adapt amidst violence and turmoil on the south side of San Jose. At the age of 15 Ali moved to Falls Church, VA and moved numerous times throughout Northern Virginia learning the realities of a single parent household. Being the man of the household, Ali conq

uered academia, social life and entrepreneurship. The name “Kulture” was given birth to embody unity, brotherhood and appreciation for each other’s heritage and background. Ali has been turning heads for quite some time now with his witty lyrics, brash delivery and unique rhyme patterns. Life is a test of will and Ali has an uncanny ability of capturing moments in his life with his music. The recent momentum of hip hop in the Washington Metropolitan area has created a great arena for talent to shine and Ali Kulture has been turning heads consistently. Lyrics without substance are a facade and Ali puts soul into what he speaks. Ali has collaborated with Fat Trel [MMG], Berner [Taylor Gang], Project Pat, Jay Sean and many more. He has opened shows for everyone from Bone Thugz n Harmony, Naughty by Nature, Freeway, Cassidy, Akon, Lloyd Banks, Joe Budden, Slaughterhouse just to name a few.

You could never get an RIP from me my brother. 6 months and it still feels like I just got that call from O. I really don’t want to write this because it feels like a Goodbye; the truth is there is no leaving, departing or breaking a brotherhood like ours.

How do you put 20 years into words? You can’t. All I know is that in my entire life no one had my back the way my brother Brandon did. I never had to ask and he always showed up, every show, every video, every time I was distant. The only one in my life I trusted more for myself than myself. Never had a pint of jealousy or hatred, wanted to see me win like he wanted to see us win. You know how the real do.

Losing Dooney then Big Ali then Benz all in a few years still hasn’t settled in. This world is temporary and our faith in God is what made our bond what it was. How is it that you spoke at my wedding and left before meeting your nephew? Seeing my brother get buried then going to my son's baby shower is the irony of life. Carrying my best friend's casket then seeing my 1st born in the NICU is the reality of life. I aspire to be a father like you were at such a young age bro.

We did some legendary things man!! We let you other rappers rap about the things we really did. No words can do justice to describe this pain or help us heal faster. I will always remember the good times, the laughter and all the gems you left us with my brother, I know you and Dooney made it home.

May Allah widen my brother's grave, shower it with light and grant his soul easy access to the highest level of heaven. I love you bro.
