I cannot imagine a life without dogs. Please join me in celebrating Therapy Dog Armand’s 4th birthday. Named for my late father, Armi didn’t make it as a service dog because a cataract was discovered after many months of training. How could I not adopt this gentle boy two years ago?! Forever grateful to his wonderful puppy raisers. Thank you, peanut butter flavored Frosty Paws for helping us mark the occasion.

Beloved Facility dog Nigel is cancer-free! In June, he was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma, a rare and serious type of cancer. Surgery followed, and now our boy is thriving back at work and bringing joy to the patients at Jefferson Moss-Magee Rehabilitation in Philly! Special thanks to his human, Occupational Therapist Peter DeLong and his family for taking such great care of Nigel. ❤️

Another 400 mile ride complete. Michigan’s Shoreline is beautiful. Veterans from every branch of service at our campsite, again including two Purple Heart recipients. What an honor spending so much time with them. 🇺🇸
