We are so happy to be back after our break! Thank y’all for bearing with us as we navigated sick kids, traveling, and our husband’s schedules 😅

In this episode, we dive into how to help your 👮🏼‍♂️ transition from work to home. It’s hard for our spouses to be emotionally and mentally present while trying to decompress after shift or cope with the traumatic things they’ve been exposed to on the job.

In this episode, we share what God has been teaching us this week, a soapbox rant from each of us, and something we’ve been loving. Our intended topic was “How to Build Community as a Police Wife,” but we ended spending the entire episode answering a question we got from one of YOU! We end up the episode with a recipe (easy and delicious - as always) and a police wife prayer 🫶🏼

The topic we ended up talking about was “Preparing/Starting a Family as a First Responder Couple.” We dive into some thoughts and discussions we have about starting our own families. This is such a personal decision, but we enjoyed getting to share our thoughts.

Then, the main topic is solo parenting bedtime routine tips that work for us! Nights alone can feel HARD, especially with littles but we invite you into solidarity of recognizing that it’s difficult while also giving you some tangible tools to try out with your littles if you find yourself in this situation.
