After the connection between he and Sigal P. Mandelker -- Trump nominee to the Treasury's Financial Intelligence Unit -- was confirmed, Steven Capozolla (Ms. Mandelker's husband) appears to have gone to great lengths to erase his online presence -- *even deleting his company's website and personal, public twitter account.*
His connection to Breitbart News (writing for the organization during Trump aide Steve Bannon's tenure), and financial vestments in firms that oppose certain trade partnerships, raise questions on whether or not he might yield influence over his wife if she were to take over operations at FinCEN.
In order to better ascertain the strength of potential conflicts of interest in this situation -- and to determine if Ms. Mandelker's relationship to Mr. Capozzola and the full nature of his interests and connections were fully disclosed to the Senate prior to this story -- The New Age will be passing along all acquired information to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee by next Wednesday, May 17th, if Mr. Capozzola and Ms. Mandelker do not take to such beforehand.
For more information -- including call logs, research documents, and online footprints -- please email [email protected] or send us a message on Facebook.
