If you don’t want justice for Austin Metcalf because he was white, then yes — you are racist.

I don’t care what color you are. If you are taking joy, pride, or satisfaction in a young man being killed because of his skin color, then you are part of the problem in America.

Austin Metcalf was someone’s son. He was a teenager with a family, a future, and people who loved him.

Scratch the skin color. Scratch the politics. Scratch the excuses.

A young man is dead, and anyone celebrating that or defending it because of race needs to take a long look in the mirror.

Justice should not depend on skin color. Wrong is wrong. Evil is evil. A grieving family deserves answers, accountability, and justice.

🚨UPDATE: Dr. Elizabeth Ventura, the medical examiner, testified that Austin Metcalf was stabbed once in the chest. The knife pierced his sternum (center chest bone) and went completely through the wall of his heart.

Prosecutors showed the autopsy photo to the jury. Karmelo Anthony reportedly looked away. One female juror was seen covering her mouth in shock.

Both Austin’s parents and some family members left the courtroom to avoid the graphic details. Karmelo’s mother also walked out.

The evidence continues to paint a devastating picture of the fatal wound that took 17-year-old Austin’s life.
