Today’s Fun Fact Friday is our newest team member, Finance Operations Specialist, Stevey Gerling!

1. Stevey comes to IMG without a background in production, but she did major in Political Science and Communications!

2. She went to CNU and is the first person in her family to attend college!

3. She has always been terrified of the ocean but swam with sharks in Hawaii and now has a little more trust in the Big Blue.

4. Stevey attends Core Power 3-4 times a week and just completed her 100th class! She also loves hot yoga.

5. She lives for live music, and her favorite band is The 1975, whom she has seen in concert at least 9 times! She’s also seen Beyonce thrice!

1. Zach can juggle, and he has no idea how he learned that skill.

2. He competed on a jazz and hip-hop dance team in high school, and his team made it to the finals!

3. Zach loves indoor rock-climbing in his spare time. !

4. He recently got into wheel-throwing and has been making fun and unique pottery!

5. Zach can solve a Rubik’s cube in a minute! He says it’s all about patterns and algorithms. How long does it take you to solve a Rubik’s cube?

1. Lauren is a first-generation college student and started working at IMG as soon as she graduated! 👩‍🎓

2. She is international superstar, Pitbull’s, #1 fan and has dressed up as him 3 times for Halloween. 🗣🎤

3. She was once hired to impersonate Lady Gaga and lip sync from the balcony at a stranger’s wedding. The bride had asked for the actual Lady Gaga and was horrified by the imposter, but Lauren got a free steak dinner out of it! 👰🎹🥩

4. As a creative outlet, Lauren started sewing during Covid and now has an Etsy shop where she buys vintage linens and repurposes them into tote bags! ✂️👜

5. She is doing a solo trip to Croatia this year! Leave some tips for Croatia travel in the comments! ✈️

1. Dave has been married for 30 years! He had to cut his hair when it started getting longer than his wife, Cheryl's.

2. He once dressed up as KISS for Halloween, but the costume was such an undertaking he hasn’t dressed up for Halloween since.

3. Dave's a beekeeper! He’s kept bees for four years and has had two colonies, but we know who his favorite queen is...

4. Dave used to write for a music magazine called Jet Lag, for which he interviewed the Ramones!

5. This year he sailed the Virgin Islands for two weeks and stopped at the most remote and beautiful island he’s ever seen. If we get 50 comments on this post, we’ll drop the island name…

1. Before IMG, Dani interned with an LA, LGBTQI+ music video company, where she made drag queen music videos and filmed celebs like Cher, Saweetie, and Kylie Minogue! 🏳️‍🌈

2. Dani got to photograph the West Hollywood Pride Parade and Festival from the pit of the Out Loud concert! 📸🎵

3. She has a golden doodle named Freya, who loves to hike. 🐩🌳

4. She once had coffee in the same shop as Quentin Tarantino and got to shake his hand. He was very gracious! 😊

2. Taylor loves Hawaii, sky diving, scuba diving, and once met a very chill hammerhead shark while snorkeling. 🔨🦈

3. She loves to go camping to convene with the stars and her friends. ⛺👬

4. Taylor is a consistent volunteer at the Humane Society and particularly enjoys taking photos of the animals to help them get adopted. 🐕🐈

5. Taylor is a cake-baking enthusiast. She makes cakes with sculpted fondant that resembles her friends’ pets and even made her friend’s wedding cake! ?!🎂🍗

1. Pete plays drums and guitar and put out a 9-nine song album that he wrote, produced, and recorded. 🎸🥁

2. He once met James Brown at the airport. He asked Mr. Brown, “how do you feel?” and James said, “I feel good!!” 🕺

3. Pete did a shoot in a closed-down amusement park and got to ride the roller coasters over and over…just to get the perfect shot, of course! 🎢

4. He is a proud first-generation American and DC native! His parents immigrated from Hungary in the 1950’s.

5. Pete has been to 42 states and wants to get to the last 8 with his (now) 5-year-old daughter in tow. How many states have you been to?

1. Kerri attended a shuttle launch that was taking American and Russian astronauts to the space station. Then, the head of the Roscosmos and the first woman who went to space invited her to celebrate with them! 🚀

2. The first music video she produced was for Fred Schneider from The B-52's 🎸

3. Kerri has broken and trained a horse! 🐎🤠

4. She did a safari in South Africa with a big cat expert! Everywhere they stopped, lions approached the car, and a cheetah licked her arm. 🦁

5. Kerri once did a “hot lap” in an Audi R8 with a professional driver in Daytona, going over 160 miles an hour! 🚗💨

1. Audra is a Double Blossom finisher! She ran the Cherry Blossom 5k and 10 mile runs on consecutive days! 🌸🏃‍♀️

2. She has a small aquarium with Cherry shrimp (cute!), Amano shrimp (great tank maids), and Vampire shrimp (little weirdos!). 🦐

3. Pokémon is her favorite gaming franchise, and she loves to play Mario Kart.🎮

4. Audra fell in love with editing in iMovie in high school. She was thrilled when she found out video editing was a real career! 🎥🎞🎬

5. She met her husband in her first video class in college. Who knew her passion for video would lead her to the other love of her life?! 👩‍🎓💗👨‍🎓

1. May has finished three marathons! She loves to run, and marathons are a great way to travel to new places. 🏃‍♀️✈️

2. Her favorite film is Princess Mononoke, which she says is a great animated epic. 👑

3. May taught English in rural Japan for a month, where she loved discovering bugs she’d never seen before! 🐛

4. She moved from Oregon to Baltimore with nothing but a backpack, and she knows she has now found her home. 🎒🏡

5. Though most people assume she is Italian, she’s Latina! Say, “hola!” to May when you’re at IMG next!

As the EEP, Colin will oversee the entire event production process, from concept to ex*****on. He’ll produce, direct and manage client projects; source and manage vendors, venues, and suppliers; just as he has successfully done for events of all sizes for over 30 years.

As a long time associate of IMG for many years, most recently as President/CEO of Spectrum Group Productions, he’s already a trusted partner. We’re very lucky to have him officially join the IMG team.
