How do you hold pain, difference, and hope—and still stay at the table?
Rev. Dr. Alexia Salvatierra has spent a lifetime pastoring and organizing among Latinx churches and multi-generational communities. In this conversation, she names the deep ache many Puentes (bridge-builders) carry—and the fierce, healing vitality that keeps them from walking away. Power shared. Wounds tended. Joy practiced. Spirit moving.

If you’re hungry for a church that feels alive—and brave enough to love across our divides—this one’s for you.

BIG NEWS: Credible Witness is hosting a live, in-person event in Washington DC. The event is FREE but registration is requested (link in bio).

Together, we’ll consider how Christian faith can be both credible and compelling in our cultural moment.

Speakers include Mark Labberton (Fuller Theological Seminary), Nikki Toyama-Szeto (Christians for Social Action), Adam Taylor (Sojourners), and Eugene Cho (Bread for the World), with live music from Common Hymnal… and MORE TBA.

This event is hosted by Christians for Social Action and the Re-Thinking Church Initiative. Admission is free, but registration is requested. And because the Busboys & Poets space is more conversational and personal, space is limited.
