Cancellation of the 11th Annual Total Sunshine School Grade Rewards Ceremony

Good Afternoon,

With great sadness, I regret to inform you that the 11th Annual Total Sunshine School Grade Rewards Ceremony will not be held this coming Saturday, June 15th due to budgetary concerns. While we made a valiant effort to raise the needed revenue, things just haven't come together. We wish the students well in their future endeavors and hope to resume our support for the top students next year.

Though we don't have tablets for the full group, we do have 10 Windows tablets to disseminate to any DC Top Graduate that has a need on a first come...basis. Please relay this information to any of the students that you think will benefit from receiving them, and have them get in touch with me via email.

Medic to Society

Many persons in America suffer from a lack of positive role models in media-which has a great impact on society with its many woes in general…society needs a “Medic” to promote smiles…

-youth suffer from lack of direction, which leads to reckless decision making as it relates to infectious disease transmission, peer pressure, violence, depression, bullying, su***de, pregnancy, truancy, increased school incompletion rates, decline in interest in the arts due to decreased opportunities to witness/access it, substance abuse, and the wide array of other ills that decrease the overall happiness in our community nationwide.

-adults suffer from similar issues in American society today.
