We visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium and I recommend it to all families. 🌊🐠
The sharks were incredible, the school of jellyfish looked unreal, and the touch pools ended up being one of our favorite parts of the whole trip. I got to touch the stingrays!!
Another cool thing is how much there is to do around the aquarium too. Between Cannery Row, the ocean views, and all the exhibits inside, it easily turned into a full family day trip.
My son was loving the aquarium and was not bored. I’m glad because I love the aquarium.

They have sharks, how cool is that!? Seeing sharks swim right past the glass was one of the coolest parts of the visit. Photos do not do it justice.
You can touch ocean life The touch pools made everything feel real. We got to touch stingrays, sea stars, and even some ocean plant life.
Both kids and adults learn something cool and interesting. Every exhibition teaches you something new without being boring. My son was curious the entire time.
You get to create lifelong memories. To this day we still talk about the things we saw. Those are the trips that matter most.
The area around the aquarium is amazing too. You have Cannery Row, the ocean views, and the coastal scenery make the whole trip feel special even before you walk inside.
