Marvin Bagley has been quietly making waves this season.

Marvin Bagley's last 2 games

19.0 PPG
13.5 RPG
32.5 MPG

Over his last two games, he’s been putting up big numbers, scoring, grabbing boards, and showing that he can take over when his team needs him.

With Sarr’s status still up in the air, Bagley has stepped up and made sure his presence is felt.

He’s been consistent all season, doing the little things that add up: finishing around the rim, crashing the glass, running the floor, and creating extra opportunities.

When he’s on the court, he makes every minute count, and lately he’s been impossible to overlook.

It’s easy to forget just how talented Bagley is. He was a second overall pick for a reason, and he’s reminding everyone of that now.

The tools are there, the effort is there, and he’s proving he can make an impact whenever he gets the chance.

The Wizards being linked to Domantas Sabonis feels a lot more grounded, and it actually fits the direction they are trying to go.

Washington has been searching for a real foundation piece, and a proven All-Star big instantly gives the roster some clarity and stability moving forward.

Sabonis would change the tone right away. He is physical, consistent, and plays a style that helps younger teammates grow.

Having a big who can rebound, score inside, and make smart reads would take pressure off the guards and give the Wizards an identity they can lean on every night.

If Washington wants to speed up the process and build around a dependable star, Sabonis feels like the type of move that could finally get things pointed in the right direction.

Bub Carrington’s start to the season hasn’t been perfect, but there’s reason to get excited.

The Wizards expected him to take over as their main ball-handler, and while things have been a bit rough, Carrington’s mindset is exactly what fans want to see.

“I feel like I’m adjusting well," he said. "And I wanna adjust to it to the best of my ability, so I’ma be a hard worker in adjusting to that. I feel like I have a natural ability to do it anyway.”

Sure, the numbers haven’t been ideal, his midrange game is off and shooting has been inconsistent, but Bub is embracing the role and learning on the fly.

“It’s not really an adjustment for me as much as it’s just doing different things now. I want to, so I think it’s going well for me,” he added.

That kind of confidence is exactly what a young point guard needs to bounce back.

Bub Carrington is still figuring things out, but his work ethic and mindset show he’s ready to grow into the role.

The struggling Wizards just picked up another problem: Cam Whitmore.

At 3–19, everyone knew this season wouldn’t be pretty, but even fans didn’t expect this level of chaos. Now Whitmore is raising eyebrows for the wrong reasons, with concerns about his day-to-day work habits. One source didn’t hold back: “If you’re trying to establish yourself in the NBA, you need to show up to practice.”

Whitmore has everything: elite athleticism, a legit jumper, but the same character red flags that followed him from the 2023 draft are popping up again, and that’s a bad look for his long-term trajectory.

Meanwhile, CJ McCollum is out here low-key boosting his trade value every night… but whether anyone’s actually picking up the phone is still a mystery. The Wizards better figure out their next move ASAP, because the clock’s ticking.

Cam Whitmore's poor practice habits are reportedly a major concern for the struggling Wizards organization. 📉🚨(via )

Kyshawn George continues to build some nice form, having now scored in double figures in three straight games.

Despite the loss, he remains a clear must-roster player who is capable of contributing across all major categories on any given night.
