In an era of highlight-reel dunks and fast-break fireworks, CJ McCollum provides the essential, repeatable science of winning:

Elite shot creation and flawless decision-making.

Need a bucket when the play breaks down? He isolates and drills the contested jumper.

Need the team to breathe? He calmly runs the pick-and-roll until the defense cracks.

He doesn't dominate the headlines, he simply dominates the final five minutes.

The definition of CLUTCH.

“I think this will be my best year yet.” CJ said.

Will a change of scenery unlock the best version of CJ?

The Washington Wizards enter the 2025-26 season as the only team in the NBA without a player ranked in ESPN’s Top 100 list.

It’s a tough reality for a franchise in the middle of a rebuild, but also a sign of just how far the Wizards have to go to get back to relevance.

The question is, who will be the first player to break that streak?

It stings to see no Wizards make the Top 100. 💔 But every underdog story starts here... time for DC to write its own.

The Wizards might have something brewing with Kyshawn George.

GM Will Dawkins is already sold:
“Kyshawn is a basketball player. You can play him 1 through 4, he knows what to do, he knows how to compete.”

It’s not just talk either. His shot looked smoother in Summer League, his game more polished, and the flashes from last year started to feel like more than just flashes.

With Bilal Coulibaly sidelined to start the season, George is suddenly in line for a bigger role maybe even starter minutes.

As a rookie, he put up 8.7 points, 4.3 boards, and 2.5 assists, while earning a reputation as a tough defender who could switch across multiple spots. The fouls piled up at times, but that fire is exactly what Washington needs.

The Wizards aren’t contenders yet, but the pieces are starting to fall into place. If George takes that next step, their rebuild might move faster than anyone expects.

Who remembers the Gold and Black Wizards jerseys from the Gilbert Arenas era?

The Wizards honor those popular jerseys with their City jerseys this season.

The old jersey was met with mixed reviews, but the modern-day version looks FIRE.

New year,
New threads,
Hoping the new season will bring an even better result for the Wiz.

Year 2 for Alex Sarr.

After a rookie season filled with stretch-5 flashes, rim deterrence, and the occasional offensive jolt (remember that 34-point night?, Sarr strides into Year 2 with the kind of expectations that make your pulse race.

Forget Poole. Forget Kuzma. They’re gone. The new supporting cast is being built around him. With youthful pieces like Cam Whitmore and AJ Johnson in the mix, Sarr’s role is to elevate Washington Wizards basketball.

With a refined jumper, versatile defense, and underrated playmaking, George is ready to make his mark.

It’s been revealed that Ace Bailey refused pre-draft workouts with every team to try to force his way to the Washington Wizards at No. 6. 👀

The plan didn’t work; he’s with the Utah Jazz instead.

Now, the question is whether Bailey can turn that failed draft gamble into motivation and prove he belongs as a cornerstone in Utah’s future.

Do you think he'll become a Wizard in the near future?

We didn’t draft Alex Sarr No. 2 overall in 2024 to blend in, we drafted him to change our future.

The start hasn’t been perfect. Early action revealed growing pains. But that’s part of the journey when you’re building something real.

What excites us? The flashes on defense. His length, his instincts, the rim protection all the tools of a future anchor are right there. Now it’s about pairing that with a jumper that can stretch the floor and unlock everything for our young core.

That’s why his role is clear, a stretch five who can defend at a high level.
We’ve seen glimpses. We’ve seen it in international play with France. And we believe it will only keep growing as he gets more comfortable.

Right now, he’s not Jaren Jackson Jr. or Karl-Anthony Towns. But with Stephon Castle thriving early, the pressure is squarely on Sarr to justify the Wizards’ gamble and prove he can be more than a defensive specialist.

The future of this rebuild depends on him embracing that role and we believe he will.

This is just the beginning.

This might be the year the Wizards turn heads.
