The System Isn’t Broken—It’s Engineered This Way
Don’t ever say,
“the criminal justice system is broken.”
It isn’t broken.
It’s functioning exactly as it was designed to.
This isn’t a flaw.
It’s a feature.
Once you understand its true purpose,
you’ll see it clearly.
There’s a reason it’s called the Criminal Justice System—
Not the Victim Justice System.
Victims walk in expecting safety, only to find themselves
under the harshest spotlight.
They are interrogated.
Pathologized.
Put on trial themselves.
Their pain becomes profit.
Their stories—commodities.
Their trust—
betrayed.
This system doesn’t fail victims.
It consumes them.
