There's nothing I hate more than being told "You don't have ADHD!" just because I don't act like a toddler... Don't get me wrong, I am a toddler in so many ways, but just because I mask and adopt a society-accepted behavior does not mean that it's not there, under the surface.

My ADHD makes it dificult for me to be in certain environments, eat certain foods, have relationships, it affects every single aspect of my life, so for you to tell me that it's not real, is the biggest offence possible.

Research is just begining to scratch the surface on what ADHD means, but we're already starting to back that research up with physical evidence that proves this disorder is real, helping more people feel validated and supported on their journey through life with ADHD.

Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean you're not there.

Your daily reminder that YOU have the power to change your perspective. When things get though, slap on a pink background, straighten your back and match on!

Here's why!

Because people with ADHD are often more energetic, more loud, more talkative, mainly different from everybody else...
we are often required to silence ourselves or to make ourselves of smaller , to fit in our to go unnoticed.

I don't know about you, but that's not how I want to live my life!

I ve spent enough time trying to make myself smaller when all I had to do was to be myself.

The change that happens when you start being yourself is that you discover that the world is not too small for you, you are just in the wrong place. Once you stop making yourself smaller, your world starts to grow with you and it may seem scary at first... but then it becomes the best thing you ever did and you never want to go back to that place where every step felt like you were walking on eggshells and you were dimming your light for the people that could handle the way you shine.

This post was inspired by the very delicious batch of lemon muffins you see in the picture

“Everyone gets distracted sometimes!”
Yeah… and everyone sweats, but that doesn’t mean they have a medical condition. 😅💡

ADHD is so much more than just being a little distracted.
🧠 It’s executive dysfunction, time blindness, emotional dysregulation, memory struggles — the whole chaotic package.

So no, it’s not just “normal.”
It’s real. It’s valid. And it deserves to be understood — not brushed off.

Reminder: Some days you’re a productivity wizard 🧙‍♂️💻… and other days you’re just really good at scrolling and surviving. And that’s totally okay. 🙃

Every day doesn’t have to be a gold-star day.
✨ Ride the wave when the energy is flowing
🌧️ Be gentle with yourself when it’s not
💖 Progress is still progress — even if it’s tiny!

You’re doing better than you think. 💪

ADHD and short-term memory loss? A daily game of “Wait… what was I just doing?” 🧠✨

You walk into a room… and forget why.
You open a tab… and forget what for.
You think of the perfect thing to say… five hours later. 🙃

It’s not you being forgetful — it’s your brain doing its quirky ADHD thing.
💡 Sticky notes, voice memos, and alarms aren’t just tools — they’re survival gear.

Be kind to your mind. It’s working really hard, even when it forgets what it’s doing. ❤️

Reminder: ADHD burnout hits different. 🧠🔥
It’s not your average “I need a nap” kind of burnout — it’s more like:
🚧 Full system shutdown
🎢 Emotional rollercoaster
👾 A surprise visit from anxiety gremlins and stress monsters

That’s why it’s crucial to sprinkle some self-care magic ✨ into your daily routine before you hit that wall. Think:
💧 Hydrate
🛌 Rest
📵 Unplug
🧘‍♀️ Breathe

Future You will thank you — and so will your nervous system. ❤️

Let’s be real: Building habits with ADHD is like trying to train a squirrel to do taxes. 🐿️🧾

Consistency? Hard.
Routines? Elusive.
Remembering to start the thing? A whole adventure.

But here’s the thing — just because it’s hard doesn’t mean it’s impossible.
✨ Tiny wins count.
🔁 Starting over isn’t failing.
🧠 Your brain just needs a different approach — and that’s valid.

You’re not lazy, unmotivated, or broken. You’re just human with a unique brain.

ADHD can sometimes make you forget a person, even if they’re your absolute favorite human. 💔😅
It’s not about how much we care — it’s just that ADHD and object permanence don’t always get along.
Out of sight, out of mind? Yeah… that might as well be our theme song. 🎶

This is your gentle reminder:
💬 Reach out to someone you’ve been meaning to check in with.
👥 You’re not alone.
🧠 Your brain is just wired a little differently — and that’s okay.

Did you know? Most women don’t get diagnosed with ADHD until they’re in their 30s. 😲

Why?
👉 Symptoms often show up differently in women
👉 We’re pros at masking and pushing through
👉 “She’s just disorganized” or “emotional” gets tossed around instead of… you know, actual help

If you’re just now connecting the dots — you’re not late, you’re right on time. 🧠💡
Awareness is the first step to thriving.

🗣️ Let's talk about the word "easy"... 🗣️

For someone with ADHD, hearing "Oh, just do X, it's easy!" can land differently.

While the intention might be encouraging, it often overlooks the invisible hurdles. Just because a task seems simple on the surface doesn't mean the ADHD brain finds it simple to execute.

Starting the task, staying focused, remembering all the steps, fighting overwhelm – these are real challenges rooted in executive function differences.

So, friendly reminder: Stating a task's simplicity doesn't magically make the neurological barriers disappear for someone with ADHD.

True support often sounds less like "It's easy" and more like "What's the first step?" or "Is there anything blocking you?"

Let's foster understanding, not unintentional dismissal. 🙏

Feeling like you're juggling more than just ADHD? You're likely not imagining it. 🤔

A crucial aspect of understanding ADHD is knowing that it often co-exists with other conditions. It's incredibly common!

Many people with ADHD also experience:
😟 Significant Anxiety
😴 Persistent Sleep Problems (Insomnia, difficulty waking, etc.)
➕ And sometimes depression, learning differences, or other challenges.

This overlap can make daily life feel extra complex, as symptoms can influence and intensify each other. (Hello, anxiety making focus harder, or poor sleep tanking executive function! 👋)

If this sounds like your reality, please know:
1️⃣ You are NOT alone.
2️⃣ Your experience is valid.
3️⃣ Seeking support for all aspects of your health is important.

Let's acknowledge the full picture of living with ADHD and its common companions. ❤️
