A 24-year-old Israeli man was arrested at Ercan Airport in Turkish-controlled Northern Cyprus minutes before boarding a flight to Mexico via Istanbul. Security found four human embryos in his carry-on, sealed in test tubes inside a cryogenic container.

Security ran his bag through the scanner just before departure. Inside a foam-lined cryogenic case packed with dry ice, investigators found four human embryos, each sealed in a separate test tube.

The container was labeled “Life Parcel.”

He was arrested at the terminal. Who sent them, nobody has said.

In 1969, 26-year-old Baltimore nun Catherine Cesnik left to buy a gift. Her body was found at a dump two months later, a hole the size of a quarter in the back of her skull.

Father Joseph Maskell was the chaplain at Archbishop Keough High School. He also served as chaplain for Baltimore County police, the Maryland State Police, and the Maryland National Guard.

In 1969, a student confided in Catherine about what was happening inside the school. Catherine listened.

In testimony, that student said Maskell drove her to a field and showed her Catherine’s body. He said: “You see what happens when you say bad things about people?”

Maskell died in 2001. He was never charged. The case remains unsolved.

In October 2017, World News Daily Report published a story about a 640-lb man and his 450-lb wife falling three floors during s*x in Liverpool. No police report, named official, or verifiable incident was ever found.

Lead Stories traced the claim to its source within weeks of publication. The outlet behind it is documented as a producer of fabricated news. No such incident was ever verified.

The story named specific officials, included photos, and quoted witnesses. None of them were real.

The hoax has resurfaced multiple times since. The names, photos, and quotes are unchanged from 2017.

On January 26, 1966, Jane Beaumont, 9, Arnna, 7, and Grant, 4, left Somerton Park, Adelaide, for Glenelg Beach. None of them came home.

Their mother gave Jane bus fare and lunch money, then watched them walk to the stop. Their father was away on a sales trip.

Witnesses saw the children playing in the sprinklers at Colley Reserve with a tall, blond, thin-faced man in his mid-30s. Around noon, Jane paid for pasties and a meat pie at Wenzel’s Bakery with a £1 note.

It was the last confirmed sighting. The man was never identified.

In 1961, 27-year-old Soviet physician Leonid Rogozov developed acute appendicitis at a remote Antarctic research station with no evacuation possible. He was also the only doctor on base. He operated on himself.

He felt the first pain on April 29. By morning, he had a fever, a rigid abdomen, and a diagnosis he gave himself. The nearest hospital was more than 1,000 miles away, and Antarctic winter made evacuation impossible.

He set a mirror above his abdomen, angled a lamp, and injected local anesthesia into his own skin. He could not read the mirror. He cut by touch.

Two colleagues held the instruments. Neither was a doctor. He stopped three times when dizziness took him to the edge, and one hour and 45 minutes later, he closed the incision.

Two weeks later, he was back at work.

On April 1, 1988, April Tinsley, 8, Fort Wayne, Indiana, was taken one block from her home. Her body was found 3 days later, 20 miles away. Her k\ller taunted police for 30 years. DNA from his trash ended it.

She left home. A man took her. Her body was found three days later in a ditch 20 miles from Fort Wayne.

She had been s\xually assaulted and str\ngled.

She was in first grade.

For 30 years, her k\ller spray-painted messages on barn doors. One read: “haha I will kill again.” No arrest was made.

In 2018, DNA from used condoms in his trash matched samples from 1988.

When detectives knocked, John D. Miller, 59, said “April Tinsley” before they told him why.

He was sentenced to 80 years in 2018. He died in prison in 2025. April’s mother said it was not enough.
