⚠️ IMPORTANT: Never venture out onto a glacier without a trained guide and the proper equipment. Glaciers are constantly changing and can be extremely dangerous!

Here’s how to experience all three places featured in this video 👇🏼

📍 Vatnajökull National Park
Home to Europe’s largest glacier, with tons of ways to experience it including guided glacier hikes, seasonal ice caves and viewpoints throughout the park. You can even get incredible views of one of its outlet glaciers while hiking Múlagljúfur Canyon!

📍 Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon
Right off the Ring Road and completely free to visit! Watch massive pieces of glacial ice float through the lagoon, then head across the road to Diamond Beach to see where some wash up on the black sand.

📍 Katla Ice Caves / Kötlujökull Glacier
Located near Vík and one of the coolest ways to actually get ON and INTO a glacier. We explored with Katlatrack and would absolutely recommend them! Their guided tours take you out by Super Jeep before gearing up and heading onto the glacier to explore the naturally formed ice caves and formations. 🧊
