June 16 (7:30 PM) 📍 Out by the big cement pond, I ran into a colleague doing a live network broadcast. I’ll keep the names under wraps, but the fact that they needed two security guards flanking them speaks volumes about how stressful it’s become to work as a news crew right now... PS. looks kinda Blueish...

Covering "Flags In" at Arlington National Cemetery (Memorial Week 2014)
In May 2014, I was assigned by Fox News Channel to document the annual "Flags In" tradition at Arlington National Cemetery, where soldiers from the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) place American flags at more than 220,000 headstones. Years ago, I edited this feature package from this event.,

This video is for the brave men that served on the Swift Boats on the rivers of Vietnam. I discovered this memorial at the Navy yard Washington DC. Found a sailor, Frank Bowman from South Carolina (my home state) on the memorial list of dead and missing. HIs history in Vietnam is at the conclusion of this video.

The Berlin Wall fell on November 9, 1989. Kerry O'berry filmed the elderly East Germans exiting the wall to West Berlin: The second Clip is on the Spree River following the Berlin Wall. Kerry and I worked together on many trips to the USSR, Germany Lithuania to name a few locations. We both know how fortunate we really were to be there! May Day, May Day… May 1, 2026

I visited the Mall to observe the events taking place. The weather was pleasant, and as I approached the White House, I noticed the customary May Day Protest. Further along the Mall, I was surprised to discover the refurbished carousel. However, it was not until later that I learned about the graffiti, “8647,” on the reflecting pool floor. To fully appreciate the situation, I decided to create a humorous video. I selected the carousel music, “Yankee Doodle Dandy,” to evoke a surreal atmosphere.

I would like to express my gratitude to Chris Plante of WMAL for providing the soundbite recorded on May 1, 2026, which can be found on his three-hour podcast.

On April 23, the President announced major upgrades for the Reflecting Pool. Living just 20 minutes away, I decided to head down and document the progress myself. Using a mix of my Insta360 and iPhone, I captured the status of the repairs along with the usual high-energy atmosphere of D.C. Stick around for the end—I caught a performance by a group from POLAND, THE MAZOWSZE . (They are performing at the Kennedy center) where the rhythmic cadence sounds suspiciously like she is chanting "Trump, Trump, Trump!" Funny!

John Riggins:
Doc Walker's ProView was a weekly television series,(2004-2006?) featuring in-depth interviews with mostly legendary professional athletes. With a catalog of over 50 productions, the show highlights the careers and stories of sports icons.

This specific installment, produced in 2004 (?), features an exclusive interview with NFL Hall of Famer John Riggins. The series is produced and edited by Steve McMillian. I was the DP.

Host: Rick "Doc" Walker is a 1982 Super Bowl champion (Redskins) and former "Hogs" offensive lineman who has been a prominent media figure in the D.C. area for years.. Working with Doc Walker and Steve McMillan was an extreme pleasure and privilege.

I’m just recording history….

The President departs from the White House on Marine One. This was a typical departure..The President maintained his standard protocol of heading straight to the aircraft without informal remarks.

March 2016 featuring some of the best White House News Photographers: ED, Brian, Pete, Peter, Pat, Rick, Kevin, Brian, Victor, Mark, Darren, Dan, Tim, Craig, Edgar, John and ( Greg Gursky, Bobby Williams And Mark Knollar, CBS correspondent. RIP)

I’d just purchased a brand-new Osmo Pocket 1 stabilized video camera, and for the first time, I could walk through a crowd without the footage bouncing like a trampoline. Back then, that kind of steady movement was a revelation. You really have to be a photographer to appreciate the Osmo. It’s a far cry from the 35lb+ rigs, as seen in this video, we used to haul; that kind of weight was painful and is the reason so many of us ended up with bad backs. I was one of many that had back surgery!

April 1, 2026 | World War II Memorial
I was out capturing the scene today when a truly moving moment unfolded right beside me. A gentleman nearby stood up specifically to shake hands with some brave National Guard members—I believe they were from Mississippi. It was a beautiful, unscripted bridge between generations and a perfect reminder of why this memorial exists. Just one of those quiet, powerful gestures of respect that tells the whole story.
