📣 BREAKING: Trump just signed an Executive Order on college sports — and it’s giving “we ❤️ the NCAA” energy.

The order claims to protect scholarships, women’s sports, and Olympic programs. But it also bans third-party “pay-for-play” deals — meaning outside boosters can’t directly pay athletes to join a team (aka what’s been happening under NIL laws).

While legit brand deals and endorsements are still allowed, this move could seriously limit how college athletes get paid, especially in football and basketball, where millions in NIL money are at stake 💸.

Trump says he’s saving college sports from chaos, but critics (and many athletes) say this is just a way to protect old power structures and stop players from getting what they’re worth. The order also opens the door to redefining athletes as not employees, which could block unionizing or future lawsuits 👀.
