Berkeley Unified School District Security. This entity is comprised of only three people, a director and 2 officers. According to what we found, they really do not work during school hours, but instead on the evenings and weekends, and respond to school district property alarms and incidents. They appear to be unarmed, and do not have non lethal weapons either.

Short video showing the DC Police warrant task force, en route to mess up someone's door, and day! This unit is composed of MPD detectives and usually federal marshals, tho lately it has also inxluded FBi, DEA, and ICE personnel.

As these columns move throughout the city, they are almost always bookended by marked units.

Black Chevy Equinoxes of the Philadelphia Police Department, assigned to investigations. Interesting fleet light set up: lots of their unmarked cars only have one LED light in the window, on the passenger side of the rear view mirror. May be effective, but looks lopsided.

A pair of Federal Protective Services Police cruisers guard the VA headquarters building in Washington DC.

Question: why? The VA has its own police force. Why not use them? Im legit asking. Is this some odd Federal jurisdiction thing, where the VA Police only have powers at hospitals?

DC Department of Corrections transport vans.
Their fleet is quite odd. They have vehicles that are marked with the DOC shield, then some units are unmarked. Some units have full suites of emergency room lights, some have none at all. Some have DC tags, some has US Government tags.

They use whatever they can get.

This is the same agency that had to fight for recognition as LEOs, and the DC government fought against them (and dc cops were arresting them!). The COs won.

This cannot be a comfortable car to drive, even if youre only carrying a sidearm (vs full duty belt)!
