My yearly pilgrimage to NJ for the LPGA ShopRite Classic. Strong field this year to include world #1 Nelly Korda. Hopefully the rain will hold off.

Northeast & Southwest.

Whichever you pick, show up ready to work or it's gonna be a long day.

The Par 5's you see in these pics and videos are not to be trifled with. And that doesn't include Northeast Hole 8, an absolute beast that requires 3 well placed shots.

Compass Pointe has to be one of the best values in MD. 2 fair, but challenging 18 hole courses in good condition.

A 4 hour pace or better where we didn't wait or have anyone waiting us, an open grill with good customer service. We recommend making the trip to play these 2 great courses!

Round 2 of the "Bourbon and Birdies Invitational" San Antonio Edtion is in the books. Played the Silverhorn Golf Club of Texas. Our Louisville correspondent (Rodney) had the low round of the day.

The best thing about this course was the sign in the lobby. It's OVER priced, no amenities, greens, and most fairways are in need of attention. $130 and range balls are not included. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY, play somewhere else. Did I mention the mosquitos??
